My business is known by one name but has a different legal name - Which name should I register under?

Section 11(1)a of the Regulation of lobbying Act 2015 provides that a person who wishes to be included on the Register shall make an application to the Commission stating the person's name.

In cases where there is a difference between the name that the business is most commonly known and its legal name, an “also trading as” option has been included for organisations who may operate under a different legal name. This option can be found on the ‘manage organisation’ page of the dashboard on lobbying.ie.
