Specific Details To support the Joint Statement of the Patria Grande and Justice and Peace Europe (organisations comprising of Catholic Justice and Peace Commissions of Episcopal Conferences in Europe and Latin America) ahead of the EULAC Summit calling on participants in the summit to take decisive action to make the transition towards a people-centred and sustainable economic model.

Intended results That governments would address areas which are high risk to people and communities and their environments in poorer countries, particularly relating to mining, drilling, the extraction of fossil fuels and effects on agriculture through the use of various practices that are damaging to the natural environment.
