Specific Details IFCA held public tree planting ceremonies to raise awareness of the value of foster care to communities

Intended results Ceremonies where part of Fostering Awareness Week, IFCA's annual campaign to raise the profile of foster care in Ireland and recognise and support foster care. Intended results were to raise awareness and allow communities and local representatives to show their appreciation for the contribution of foster carers. Our aim is to grow and expand support of foster care and ensure public representatives are reminded and kept informed as to the important place of foster care in the State.
