The lobbying took place at the Irish Rowing Championships, Farran Co. Cork at the National Rowing Centre. The CEO of Rowing Ireland Michelle Carpenter and the Chair of the board of Rowing Ireland Martin Hogan, met with the Tainaiste Micheál Martin when he attended the event on Saturday the 13th of July 2024. They discussed the facilitites at the National Rowing Centre in relation to athletes and clubs.
