30th July 2024: A number of NFVSP representatives attended a meeting with Deputy Mary Lou McDonald and Deputy Pauline Tully to discuss the priorities for people with disabilities and service providers to people with disabilities in Ireland.

Beginning on 19th July 2024: Alison Harnett (NFVSP CEO) exchanged emails with Special Advisor Noel Byrne planning Minister Anne Rabbitte's attendance at a meeting in NFVSP offices in Galway.

26th August 2024: Alison Harnett (CEO NFVSP) and other NFVSP Board members attended a meeting with Taoiseach Simon Harris and Minister Roderic O'Gorman for a roundtable discussion with key stakeholders on disability. We shared key urgent unmet needs for people with disabilities and elderly families without access to planned supports - particularly residential supports.
