Specific Details We were invited to speak to Oireachtas Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform, and Taoiseach. We also lobbied to prevent legislation being introduced to dismantle the Triple Lock, following the rejection of the Nice Treaty by the Irish people in 2001.

Intended results The maintenance of a positive neutrality and accordance with Article 29 of the Constitution. We also sought to protect the Triple Lock, which states that no more than 12 Irish troops can participate in overseas missions without the approval of the Cabinet, the Dáil, and the United Nations.
