Specific Details re The Proposed EU Transport Directive & The Importation of Arvac for thoroughbred stallions

Intended results We are trying to get a derogation for the European Thoroughbred breeding industry from the proposed EU Transport Directive and were trying to get the importation of Arvac to vaccinate the stallions as their immunity to EVA has weakened.

During the September to December period, the Irish Thoroughbred Breeders Association engaged with both political and departmental officials on matters of concern to our members. These included the transportation of breeding stock and the EVA vaccine. This would have included meetings and emails
