Specific Details Wrote to the seven political parties in the run up to the General Election. Wrote to the Taoiseach and Tánaiste ahead of Government Formation Talks. In both representations the following matters were raised; Pension Parity, Entitlement to Negotiate Pensions, Post 1995 Pensions, Medical Card Assessment for over 70's, Cycle to Work Scheme.

Intended results Parity with salary with serving colleagues is maintained in all future pay/pension negotiations. The right to have a say in determining our pensions. Post ’95 pensioners: 1. retrospection of increases to the supplementary portion of their pension before the 1 August 2024, 2. the terms of the widows/ers pension is addressed following the death of a spouse. The disparity in pension assessment between under 70's and over 70's is addressed. Having pensioners included in the cycle to work scheme

Letter (6-10)

It the lead up to the General Election we wrote to the seven main political parties. After the election we corresponded with the Taoiseach and the Tánaiste ahead of their talks on the formation of government.
