Intended results To recommend that there is no fundamental overhaul to the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive regime - in particular, our view is that the EU delegation model is robust and provides investors with the best outcomes, and there should be no differentiation in reporting between intra- and extra- EU delegation.

Meeting (1)

Irish Funds, Insurance Ireland and the Banking & Payment Federation Ireland held a Financial Services breakfast roundtable in the European Parliament on 2 October 2024. The purpose of the meeting was for the industry to share views with Irish MEPs on some of the key priorities in the EU legislative term and to highlight the contribution the financial services sector makes to the Irish economy.

Letter (2-5)

Following the industry breakfast roundtable held on 2 October 2024, follow up letters were sent to Irish MEPs in attendance. The letters provided background information on Legal & General's Asset Management Division including examples of our investments in Ireland and to set out our view that there should be no fundamental overhaul of the AIFMD regime, in particular on the EU delegation model.
