Meeting in Department of Sport. Discussed the need for increased Core Funding for National Governing bodies and Local Sport Partnerships. How increasing the betting levy from 2% to 3% with the 1% increase to be spent on Sport infrastructure and grass root programmes is a new way of resourcing sport. To reform elements of Taxation Policy as per action 3.7 of th enational sports policy to incentivise donations to sport and physical activity.
