Intended results IEA are working as part of the taskforce group to consider the resilience of sea connectivity between Ireland and Wales so that these critical transport links can better withstand the challenges we expect from climate change. We are working with Irish and Welsh stakeholders so that we can secure a successful future for Irish sea crossings.

Meeting (2-5)

The meetings are focused on contingency planning so that we can set out clear expectations of the actions to be taken by stakeholders on both sides of the Irish Sea should a port be closed at short notice. This includes looking at the resilience of Welsh ports and the lessons learned from Holyhead,.
