Specific Details The CEO Fergal Landy and FRCNF Director and Manager of Tubercurry FRC Sandra Cribben, met with the Minister for Social Protection Dara Calleary, at his constituency office in Ballina on the 31st of March to brief him on the National FRC Programme.

Intended results To inform the Minister on the National FRC programme emphasising it's National Programme Status; the desire to ring fence its core funding; and the importance of the autonomy of FRCs to pursue a community development approach. The FRCNF CEO outlined then concerns of the FRC members noting that the Tusla Structural Reform programme may impact adversely on these important features of the programme.

Meeting (1)

The meeting took place in Minister Dara Calleary constituency office. The meeting provided an opportunity to brief the Minister on the National FRC programme and some of the concerns of our FRC members in relation to the Tusla Structural reform programme.
