Letter (1)

Volunteer Ireland highlighted the following: volunteering has a substantial positive impact on physical and mental health in Ireland. Volunteers themselves play a substantial role in delivering supporting our healthcare systems, for example by delivering vital services in palliative care, home visits, mental health support, & health education. Volunteers will play a significant role in delivering Sláintecare reform, in particular supporting people to stay healthy in their homes and communities
