Intended results To introduce new Ministers to J&J and highlight its positive contribution to public health and the Irish economy. To advance the adoption of a holistic national strategy for the life sciences sector, aiming for benefits both to public health and economic development. To welcome the Government commitment to achieve patient access as quickly as possible and to reduce the timelines for patients in Ireland to access innovative medicines through reform of the reimbursement system. To establish a platform for ongoing stakeholder collaboration with Government on medicines reimbursement. To welcome the Government's commitment to support IP rights for medicines to drive innovation and competitiveness and to request that this be reflected in Irish positions at European level.
