Specific Details Lobbied the Minister of State at the Department of Justice in relation to (1) Pension parity for retired Garda members with their serving colleagues. (2) Sought to extend the application of the terms of the 'bike to work scheme' to retired Garda members. Lobbied the Minister for Health in relation to Prostate Screening Programme for men over 50 years of age.

Intended results To ensure that in upcoming and future pay awards negotiated between Government and Civil and Public Service Trade Unions would be reflected in the pension of retired Garda members, i.e. to maintain pension parity with serving members. To allow tax relief on the purchase of bicycles by retired Gardai similar to the opportunity offered to serving Gardai and Civil Servants. To secure the implementation of a funded prostate screening programme for men over 50 years of age.
