Discuss priorities to be considered for people with intellectual disabilities who are supported by Sunbeam in Wicklow and Dublin We highlighted concerns for Sunbeam, such as appropriate funding to assert their rights and to meet their changing needs, including housing and transport. We also highlighted the reported increase in funding assigned to for-profit organisations, in comparison to that of Section 38 services (key findings from the Department of Children, Disability and Equality (2025).
