Intended results Meeting with new OPW Chair held at OPW offices 30 July 2025 - ACEI set out the challenges facing the consulting engineering sector and the need for the OPW and other contracting authorities and wider Government to make sure public sector projects were attractive with the context of scarce resources and a busy pipeline of activity.

Meeting (1)

30 July 2025 The ACEI delegation met with the new OPW Chair, John Conlon and his team. This was a very productive meeting for both ACEI and OPW, creating an awareness of the difficulties currently faced by the industry including the Tender process; NDP projects and procurement; Conditions of Engagement, Indexation and OGP Guidance on PII.
