17 letters were emailed to DPOs across Offaly, Wicklow, North / South Kildare constituencies by email extending an invite to meet to with them to highlight the many issues being experienced by people with intellectual disabilities and their families in their constituencies. Accompanying this letter was a one page outlining the NFVSP key priorities for budget 2026.

One virtual meeting took place on the 28th July with TD Martin Heydon, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine (Kildare South - Fine Gael) between Kare & Muiríosa to discuss the NFVSP supporting people with intellectual disabilities key priorities for Budget 2026.
