Intended results Ministers attendance as a guest of the Blue Planet Alliance Fellowship program which brings representatives from island nations and territories to Hawaii for a rigorous week-long seminar and workshop designed to help islands develop their own plans for a 100% renewable-energy transition. A team for Ireland is being created for a delegation trip in October

Invitation to the Minister to attend the training was emailed in 2025 and invitation extended to attend the 2026 training was responded to by diary secretary Gavin Conologue on March 10 by email. The invitation was not taken up however an October invitation is emminent .
