Meeting (1)

A discussion about the Short-Term Letting and Tourism Bill and the associated update to the National Planning Statement for short-term lets. We recommended that there needed to be clarity around the planning framework before the registration scheme comes into effect, that should be appropriate lead-in time and public awareness before the scheme goes live, and a suitable transition period. We also advocated for stronger protections for hosting in rural areas under the new planning guidelines.
