Specific Details The Family Resource Centre National Forum CEO Fergal Landy met with Tainaiste Simon Harris in person at Greystones Family Resource Centre on the 6th of March. CEO Fergal Landy briefed Tánaiste Harris on the National FRC Programme and the role of the FRC National Forum. CEO Fergal Landy emphasised the need for an increase in the core funding of FRCs; a dedicated capital funding stream for FRCs; and additional funding for counselling and therapeutic supports.

Intended results Raise profile of the National FRC Programme and to highlight and advocate for key funding priorities of Family Resource Centres (FRCs).

Meeting (1)

CEO Fergal Landy met with Tánaiste Simon Harris in person at Greystones FRC on the 6th of March. CEO Fergal Landy briefed Minister Harris on the National FRC Programme and the role of the FRC National Forum. He highlighted three key priorities on behalf of FRC members: the need for an increase in core funding for FRCs; to establish a dedicated capital funding stream; and to expand funding for counselling and therapeutic supports and services provided by FRCs.
