On 26 February, BNY attended a roundtable which included a representative of the Central Bank of Ireland. The topic of the Roundtable was "Mobilizing Savings into Strategic Investment: Designing a SIA product for Ireland"

Following the Roundtable meeting, on 1 April, BNY had a follow up phone call with the Central Bank of Ireland representative on the proposed Savings and Investment Account being introduced by the Irish Government
