Specific Details Attended and was part of a submission to the the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Housing in relation to Regeneration of Social Housing in the South City and the current conditions of units in flat complexes due for regeneration.

Intended results Simplified and quicker Regeneration Process, address current maintenance problems in flats in a timely manner. For DCC to appoint a dedicated Director of Housing Regeneration with a properly funded section. For resources to be provided to expand the Community of Practice and have a joined up approach including tenants involved in the process. For the Government to implement the Council of Europe’s (COE) Committee of Social Rights recommendations to the Collective Complaint 2017.
