Specific Details
to progress the INTO Congress Resolution on Supports for Curriculum Rollout
Intended results
demands that the Department of Education and Youth provides:
1. adequate, sustained funding and resourcing to all schools to support the
enactment of the redeveloped curriculum across all five specifications;
2. a coherent, high-quality and sustained model of curriculum support for all
schools throughout the full period of enactment, including access to in
person, substitutable and fully funded professional development;
dedicated and protected planning time, within the school year, to enable
individual teachers and whole-school staffs to engage in effective
curriculum planning, collaboration and review;
4. the timely publication of a clear enactment timeline and a calendar for all
schools which includes all associated training, events and school
closures, issued in advance of each academic year;
the publication of comprehensive guidelines, toolkits and support
materials for all subject areas within the five curriculum specifications in
advance of the 2026/27 academic year;
further demands:
1. the provision of six whole-school non-pupil contact days, within the
existing 182-day school year, to facilitate structured, collaborative
planning for curriculum enactment and other initiatives; and
