The following activities occurred for this specific Subject Matter Area.

Letter (1)

A letter was sent to Tommy CEO Cavan County Council on 8th September 2017. Cavan Chamber over the past year has been giving consideration as to how best all activities, festivals, events happening throughout the Town and County of Cavan could be coordinated enhanced, improved and new features added for Cavan Town and/or throughout the County. Cavan has the infrastructure, the geographical features, and the tourism necessities to positively grow the amenities of the County, to match the most successful Regions in the Country. With this in mind Cavan Chamber is promoting the concept of an "Events Organiser" for the Town/County. As the Chamber would not have the resources to undertake/recruit such a person on its own we are asking Cavan County Council for assistance to enable the initial study to be undertaken. Also, if Council was aware of any person or body with competence in this area Chamber would welcome advise on same
