Specific Details Delivery of full size playing pitches under Master Plan ref SDRA 12 - St Teresa's Gardens & Environs - The masterplan (as per current development plan) to provide for residential, commercial and community uses, including an area of integrated sporting and active open space sufficient in size for use by GAA & other sporting clubs for organised games. Retention of full sports grounds at Dolphin Park, Dublin 12 and provision of more sports facilities within Dublin 8 in general

Intended results Early development of full size playing fields to accommodate all sports clubs within the community including GAA - in location agreed with DCC - temporary pitch to be replaced upon demolition of two blocks of flats once designated housing built. Retention in full of existing playing pitches at Doplhin Park - no part sale or otherwise. Provision of more sportes facilities within Dublin 8 - seriously lacking.
