Specific Details Galway Centre for Independent Living wishes to raise awareness of the difficulties disabled persons continue to face in relation to accessible transport. Specifically we sought advice/guidance with regard to sources of capital funding to save our accessible transport service. The current vehicle fleet is aged, experiencing increased breakdown/failure with increasing repair & maintenance costs. The fleet is reaching obsolescence and requires upgrade/replacement.

Intended results Advice and guidance with regard to potential capital funding sources to help us fund the upgrading/replacement of some of our accessible transport vehicle fleet. Where appropriate, assistance in obtaining said funding.
