In September the INOU published the 34th edition of the organisation’s E-bulletin. This edition marked a number of anniversaries: the launch of the 25th edition of the INOU’s publication Working for Work; and the 21st anniversary of Kildare Local Employment Service. As Budget 2019 approached the organisation re-iterate the INOU’s key asks. Two of our individual members wrote about the difficulties facing older women securing employment. Other articles covered the Adult Education Survey 2017; JobsPlus Employers Survey; Labour Force Survey Quarter 2, 2018; and developments in JobsIreland.ie. The Economic, Social and Cultural Rights Initiative wrote about what needs to happen for Ireland to realise the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
