Was invited by the Minister of Health Simon Harris to present at the Healthy Ireland "Stakeholder Forum on the Built Environment" on No Fry Zones and reducing the obesogenci environemnt around schools. This event was attended by health care experts, planners, members from the department of health, HSE, department of planning & local government.

Tweeted information regarding No Fry Zones and associated information to elicit support. Posted related articles to our No Fry Zone facebook page. Significant tweeting and Facebook posting in November when the Joint Oireachtas Commitee for Children & Youth Affairs issued their report on tackling childhhood obesity - recommednation # 8 is the introduction of No Fry Zones around schools.

Letters of complaint regarding planning permission granted by Wicklow County Council regarding planning application 18/373 for fast food outlet / resturant within 150m of 3 schools in clear contravention of Objective RT17 which states exclude new fast food outlets within 400metres of school. Letters sent to Wicklow County Council Ethics Registrar.
