Intended results This is an annual, advertised, social occasion for our membership. There are a number of speeches with the aim of informing all attendees including the Tánaiste, about the work of Engineers Ireland and the views of our membership working in the region. Our Cork Branch is one of 12 Regional branches of Engineers Ireland.

The Cork Region of Engineers Ireland Annual Dinner took place on 8 February with special guest Tánaiste Simon Coveney TD. The Cork County Mayor was invited and was present, (Councillor Patrick Gerard Murphy), and Councillor Fergal Dennehy deputised for the Lord Mayor of Cork, Cllr Finn. There were a number of speeches on the evening. This is a social occasion.
