Specific Details Individual meetings were undertaken by our representative Gerry Prendergast with members of Kildare County Council, Bill Clear (x2), Carmel Kelly, Vincent Martin and Fintant Brett, on 4 & 8 July 2019 to discuss the draft Naas Local Area Plan 2019-2023 insofar as it related to Millennium Park. Gerry Prendergast also met with James Lawless TD on 5 July 2019 on this matter. Gerry made two submissions to Peter Minnock, Director of Planning of Kildare County Council, on 30 May 2019 on this matter.

Intended results The meetings were undertaken and the submissions were made for the purpose of raising concerns about and advocating changes to the draft Naas Local Area Plan 2019-2023 which, had it been adopted by Kildare County Council in the form of the draft published by it, would have altered the current zoning of elements of the lands at Millennium Park. The meetings and submissions also advocated for changes to the current zoning of elements of the lands at Millennium Park.
