Specific Details COVID-19 engagement regarding guidance, insights, supports, knowledge sharing and meetings sought for the safe return of organised and ticketed events. Implementation of supports to help protect, hold sector upright and together, allowing it to survive, until such time as organised and ticketed live entertainment events can return to full capacity safely.

Intended results Continuation of the support payment of €350 (previous level of the EWSS/PUP) for workforce of sector until it fully recovers. Sector fully closed under government mandate, no opportunity to trade. Implementation of proposed supports. Immediate implementation of a cross departmental task force including representatives of the commercial/non-state funded live entertainment sector). Proposed enhanced protocols submitted for return of events. Pilot events sought for EP & various other events. Reopening date for event sector from 1st September 2021
