Specific Details Review of Pricing System for Long Term Residential Care Facilities, published 4th June, fails to implement urgent action required to address fundamental failings with the Nursing Home Support Scheme, given fees payable under the funding model are not commensurate with reality of nursing home care costs. Post review publication, NHI lobbied to inform re such and reiterate urgent necessity for introduction of a fit for purpose funding model.
