Specific Details Courtown Community Council's is a registered charity that aims to deliver a dedicated service for the continuous improvement of our environment and heritage, to benefit the whole community and those who visit. We have significant communications with Elected Councillors and County Executives regarding the status and development of the wider Courtown/Riverchapel area. We lobby for essential infrastructure, services and amenity for our locals community and visiting guests, and protection of nature.

Intended results All of our communications relate to the betterment of Community Development, Environment, Social Services and Transparency with and from the Local Authorities in regard to expenditure of public money. 90% of the time these communications are successful and beneficial to the community. However, a lack of community consultation on matters relating to Courtown Woods and Gorey Footpath resulted in CCC submitting complaint to Wexford Co. Council and then further to the Ombudsman.
