Specific Details Material Amendment to the Draft Meath County Development Plan zoning agricultural lands at Killegland, Ashbourne to Open Space

Intended results To propose that the Material Amendment to zone land at Killegland, Ashbourne from agricultural land to Open Space should not be made at this stage of the Draft County Development Plan process as any Open Space zoning at Killegland should be dealt with during the Ashbourne Local Area Plan process. To notify and discuss the detailed submission lodged to Meath County Council which fully outlines the reasoning behind our proposal and to highlight the major issues that would arise should the Material Amendment be voted for by Councillors to remain as drafted. To discuss the recently published recommendation of Meath County Council's Chief Executive to make a modification to the area of land affected by the Material Amendment.
