Intended results We called on Government to consider the evidence of elevated risks present for people with intellectual disabilities and the value already demonstrated by prioritisation and recommend that people with ID (including those under 60 years of age) be included in the booster vaccination programme as a matter of urgency.

Letter set out the evidence for increased adverse outcomes for people with intellectual disability who contract Covid 19 and advocated for the prioritisation of this cohort in the vaccination programme, as had been the case (Cohort 4 and 7) in the roll out of the primary vaccine programme.
