Specific Details The Lobbying was in relation to the RDS STEM Learning Programme/ESB Science Blast

Intended results The intended result of the lobbying was the creation of a working group under the remit of the Department for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science to review the learnings from the ESB Science Blast and make recommendations on how primary schools, secondary schools and universities can apply these learning to improve education in the STEM areas.

Letter (1)

Letter from Geraldine Ruane, RDS CEO, to Minister Simon Harris TD, dated 3rd February 2022. Letter invited the Minister to visit the RDS and also aimed to establish a working group with the Department and the RDS to assist in the formation of policy in the area of STEM education at all levels, particularly third level.
