Specific Details Request to implement the report of the National Council for Curriculum Assessment (NCCA) relating to RSE and Sex Education. Provide additional resources for Youth Services to support their preventative work with young people experiencing mental health concerns and to address the overwhelming costs on small charities of meeting legislative and regulatory compliance.

Intended results Action on the report and greater understanding of the needs of young people. Resourcing for Youth Services with respect to provision of funding to meet needs in addition to funding compliance and reporting costs.

Event / Reception (1)

The Service participated in the Political Briefing Event in Dublin on April 27th. This event, which was organised by Youth Work Ireland, was held in Dublin and all TD's and Senators were invited. Our young people and staff met a select number of TD's and Senators from their constituency at the event all of whom are listed below.
