Original email sent, with replies to those who responded. Ireland's Association for Adventure Tourism (IAAT) is strongly opposed to the proposed 'Beach Bye Laws 2022', as currently drafted. We are deeply concerned that the legislation would effectively deliver a blanket ban to sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, stand-up paddling, horse-riding and other activities (by private individuals/groups and commercial operators) at 24 beaches extending from the Aran islands to Connemara to Portumna. We strongly oppose these bye-laws as currently drafted. For and on behalf of IAAT and our members.
