HRCI requested a question be posed to the reps of the HSE. Prof Martin Curley, former Director of Digital Transformation & Open Innovation in the HSE–resigned stating ‘What I have been seeing is the clinicians pulling for change, but the resistance is coming from administrators that do not have clinical backgrounds.’ Can you elaborate on this resistance? Why are administrators blocking innovation and positive change which could lead to very real benefits for patients, researchers and clinicians?
