Specific Details Withdrawal of 4% increase which was applied to all other Tusla grantees last year is a budget reduction. Email response from Department does not mention the proposed 2% reduction in ABC funding in 2024. Major concern for the Board of CDI, we signal now that it will not be possible to maintain the current levels of service provision without a cost-of-living increase, bearing in mind that we are in a situation of budget reduction.

Intended results the ABC Managers Forum has written to you on two occasions seeking a meeting. We are keen to work collectively to address this issue. I respectfully request that you meet as a matter of urgency with representatives of the Forum to discuss the remaining legacy deficit and address what is required to support the excellent work of the ABC programme.
