Intended results To ensure all Connacht and beyond public representatives are aware of the plans to redevelop the Sportsground, College Road, Galway; to ensure awareness of the annual socioeconomic impact of Connacht Rugby; and, that Connacht Rugby is a significant employer in the West of Ireland with more than 130 employees. To maximise the potential public funding through the Large Scale Sports Infrastructure Fund.
