Proposed to the Councillors that the Material Amendment to zone land at Killegland, Ashbourne from agricultural land to Open Space not be made at this stage of the Draft County Development Plan process but that the Open Space zoning at Killegland should be looked at during the Ashbourne Local Area Plan process. Also notified Councillors that we would be making a detailed submission fully outlining the reasoning behind our proposal and highlighted the major issues that would arise should the Material Amendment remain as drafted. The submission was subsequently lodged to Meath County Council.
